New Workers Comp Claims Management Program Targets Small Business
March 16, 2004--"As employers become increasingly conscious about their workers compensation costs, they are searching for methods to decrease lost time from work and more importantly are struggling with insurance carriers for input on the handling of their claims," says Gus Ortiz, President.
Claims management services are normally provided to an insurance broker's larger clients, that leaves the majority of small to medium businesses to fend for themselves. IntegraComp's claims management system is created with these employers in mind.
The Workers Compensation Claims Management System contains tools to create injury reports, document alternative work assignment, communication pathways to all parties involved in a claim and a timeline to track the progress of a claim. The system is customized to each individual employer and includes 20 hours of workers compensation consultations to be used at the employer's discretion.
IntegraComp was founded in 2002 and provides workers compensation and risk management program development and employee coaching. Other services include workers comp program assessment, structured settlement solutions and seminar coaching. The group has written a book due to be published in April 2004, 8 Steps To A Winning Workers Comp Program.
